Event Terms & Conditions
Participation and Risk Assumption
By registering for and participating in this event, you acknowledge and accept full
responsibility for any discomfort, illness, injury, or accident that may occur while preparing
for, during, or after the event—including while on the event premises or traveling to and
from the event. You understand that participation in this event may involve hazards and
should only be undertaken if you are medically fit and properly trained. If you have any
doubts about your ability to participate safely, please consult your doctor before taking
part. It is your responsibility to ensure that you remain medically and physically fit for all
activities related to the event.
Please be aware that the event may take place on public roads and facilities where
hazards are naturally present.
By participating, you also acknowledge that the event carries inherent risks ranging from
minor discomfort to severe injuries, permanent disability, or even death. These risks
include, but are not limited to, those associated with falls, obstacles, collisions with other
participants, the actions or omissions of others, weather conditions, traffic, and route
characteristics. In consideration of your participation, you, on behalf of yourself, your
heirs, and your executors, hereby waive, release, and forever discharge Future Sports
Events LTD, its event marshals, sponsors, promoters, and all of their agents,
representatives, successors, and assigns, as well as any other persons connected with
the event, from any liability, claims, actions, or damages arising out of or connected with
your participation—even if such claims are based on negligence or any other cause.

be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules. You further agree to submit to the authority of
UK Anti-Doping for the application and enforcement of these rules. The UKA Anti-Doping
Rules apply to all participants in athletics events for 12 months following the date of the
event, regardless of your citizenship or residency.
Safeguarding Terms and Conditions
Ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for athletes, spectators, volunteers, and event
staff is paramount. By hosting our events in collaboration with the relevant National
Governing Bodies, we confirm that appropriate safeguarding and welfare precautions are
in place and that our events comply with the applicable Competition Rules. In cases
where events are not facilitated through National Governing Bodies, comprehensive risk
assessments are conducted to ensure all welfare precautions are fully considered.

Withdrawal Policy
A cooling-off period of 48 hours applies to all bookings. If you withdraw within 48 hours of
your booking, you are eligible for a full refund—subject to the deduction of a £10
administration fee and any applicable service fees.
If you purchased insurance when buying your ticket, please refer to your confirmation
email for specific instructions. You will need to work directly with the insurance provider to
process any claims.
For those without insurance who wish to withdraw after the cooling-off period, the
following option is available:
Option 1: Transfer Your Registration to Another Competitor
Standard Transfers:
You may transfer or sell your place to another person wishing to participate in the

can be processed free of charge via your Future Sports Events LTD account
(details of which are provided in your entry confirmation email).
Late Transfers:
If there are fewer than 30 days remaining before the event, transfers must be
completed in person at the event registration desk and will incur a £10
administration fee. Only the new participant is required to attend registration to
finalize the transfer.
Please ensure that all transfers are completed through the proper channels so that Future
Sports Events LTD maintains accurate participant records, including emergency contact
details. Do not transfer your bib number informally.Running on another athlete’s bib
without an official transfer is against National Governing Body (NGB) rules and will result
in disqualification.
Cancellations & Amendments Policy
Cancellation
If an event is cancelled or postponed, your registration will automatically be transferred to
the rescheduled date. We will provide you with at least 24 hours’ notice of any
amendments or cancellations where possible.
In cases where a reasonable alternative has been offered, no refunds will be provided if
the cancellation is due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, Acts of
God, or other Force Majeure events.
Route Amendment
Future Sports Events LTD is committed to hosting safe and high-quality events. We
reserve the right to modify the event course for safety and quality reasons. For instance,
in our triathlon events, this may involve switching the format to a duathlon or aquathlon.
Additionally, for all events, changes may include modifications to the start time, route(s),
and/or cut-off times.
